Calangute is the largest beach of north goa (largest beach of south goa is colva ) calangute is a census town in North Goa in the state of Goa, India. It is famous for its beach, visited by domestic and international tourists alike. The peak tourist season is during Christmas and New Year, and during the summer in May.
Palolem Beach, Goa

Palolem beach stretches between two magnificent headlands and the beach is lined with towering coconut palms. Every season bamboo-hut resorts and restaurants are erected along the beach allowing tourists to stay right on the sand, only a few meters away from a swim in the Arabian Sea.
